Former MMD National Chairman and Information Minister has endorsed President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA and the UPND ahead of the 2026 General Elections.
STAN KRISTAFOR, who also served as Member of Parliament in Kitwe, says he is campaigning for President HICHILEMA because he believes the UPND has demonstrated the capacity to govern the country.
He says there is currently no credible opposition offering an alternative to the UPND, claiming that the Patriotic Front – PF – is virtually finished.
The Former MMD National Chairman has also cited the defection of former PF members, including MILES SAMPA to the UPND as evidence of growing support for President HICHILEMA.
He has challenged opposition leaders BRIAN MUNDUBILE and MAKEBI ZULU to explain how they intend to create jobs and develop the country.
The Former Minister said President HICHILEMA’s experience in business and economics makes him a competent leader capable of steering the country forward.
And, He has called on Zambians to maintain peace before, during and after the elections.
Mr. KRISTAFOR said all political players should respect the outcome of the polls and support whoever is elected to govern the country.
The former MMD National Chairman says political differences should not be allowed to degenerate into violence or conflict.
